Privacy policy

Story Time is a read-along app for small children, made by Primawan Satrio, who is responsible for the information described here. Contact: work.primawan@gmail.com.

The app

The app collects no personal information. There is no account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. Nothing about you or your child is sent to us.

• Settings (meaning language, voice speed, calm mode, bedtime limit) are saved only on your device.
• Your own voice. If a grown-up records themselves reading a story, the app uses the microphone only while that grown-up records, behind the grown-up question. The recordings are saved only on your device. They are not sent to us or anyone else, and they are left out of iCloud Backup. Deleting a recording in the app, or deleting the app, removes it.
• Reading aloud uses the Swedish voice built into iOS, on your device.
• Subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not see your name, email address or payment details. Apple's privacy policy applies to purchases.

This website

The website uses no cookies and no analytics. If you join the waitlist, we store your email address, the meaning language you chose (or, on the Indonesian page, the type of phone you use), which page you joined from, the country your request came from and the date. They are kept on Cloudflare, which hosts the site and stores them on our behalf. We use them only to send one email when Story Time is in the App Store, and then we delete the list. We do not share or sell them.

Children

Story Time is made for children to use with a grown-up. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. Purchases, settings and recording sit behind a question that only a grown-up can answer.

Your rights

You can ask to see or delete the waitlist information we hold about you at any time, by writing to the address above. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in Sweden, IMY).

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
